Privacy Policy
Effective July 17, 2026
What we collect
- Website addresses you scan. When you run a free scan, we process the URL you enter and store the scan results so we can show you your report.
- Your email address, if you choose to request a full report. We use it to deliver your report and to follow up about our services.
- Contact form submissions (name, email, company, message), used to respond to you.
- Basic server logs. Our host (Cloudflare) records standard request logs for security and reliability.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie in use is an essential session cookie for administrator sign-in to our content system — it is never used to track visitors. Fonts and all other assets are served from our own domain, so viewing this site sends no requests to advertising or analytics companies.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
- We do not run third-party ad pixels, analytics trackers, or session recorders.
- We do not use your scan results for anything other than serving you.
Your privacy choices
Because we don't sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of — and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a matter of principle. If you'd like your data deleted (scan results, report emails, or contact messages), emailhello@consentdefense.com and we'll remove it promptly. California residents: this section serves as our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" notice — we don't, so there's no form to fill out.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers that run this site: Cloudflare (hosting and storage, United States). No data brokers, no ad networks.
Retention
Scan results and leads are kept while they're useful for serving you, and deleted on request. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry.
Children
This service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect children's data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. If a change is significant, we'll say so plainly instead of hiding it in legalese.
