What we are (and aren't)

ConsentDefense is a technical website-compliance service operated by Faster Websites Co. We scan websites for tracking behavior associated with consent-related litigation and, if you hire us, we fix what we find. We arenot a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and nothing on this site or in our reports is a legal opinion. For legal advice, consult a licensed attorney.

The free scan

You may only scan websites you own or are authorized to assess. Scan results are automated observations of publicly visible website behavior at the moment of the scan; sites change, and a scan is not a guarantee that nothing else exists.

No guaranteed outcomes

Our scans and remediation work reduce technical exposure to consent-related claims. No service can guarantee you will never receive a demand letter or be sued, and we make no such promise. Statistics on this site reflect publicly reported litigation trends and specific public cases.

Paid services

Remediation and monitoring engagements are quoted in writing before work begins. If we complete agreed work and verification shows the agreed items fixed, the work is done; ongoing monitoring can be cancelled anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page with its effective date.
